Ø    Taught courses including Management Information Systems, Ergonomics, Web Designing, Web Marketing, Corporate Marketing, and Corporate Information Strategy

Ø     Official visit to the Yale University, School of Management from February 19-22, 2008

  • Was invited as a delegate to participate in a 2-day International Symposium on the Yale Integrated MBA Curriculum Model held at the Yale SOM, February 19-20, 2008
  • Discussed with Deans and Faculty of various disciplines IBA’s collaboration with Yale SOM with respect to teaching and research activities & methodologies; resources available with centers at both schools like data, research projects and future ideas

Ø    Developed and conducted an in-depth training program/module in MIS for CBR officials

Ø     Coordinated and supervised the IBA 5 Month Internship program for first semester MBA students at various organizations

Ø     Supervised MBA students for Multidisciplinary Projects at various MNCs and local organizations

Ø     Coordinated and presented at Open House sessions and seminars/conferences held in various cities of Pakistan

Ø     Coordinator / Organizer of the 1st ICICT in Karachi, Pakistan on August 27-28, 2005

NON-TEACHING EXPERIENCE

 

Oct 1997 to Oct 1999               Assistant Manager, Corporate Marketing & Finance for Standard Chartered Leasing Pakistan

Ø          Identified & targeted 50 plus corporate clients from multinational and local blue-chip companies to develop and maintain a diversified portfolio of credit-worthy clientele.

Ø          Managed a portfolio of 50 plus clients, analyzing their creditworthiness through financial & technical feasibilities, industry analysis, management credibility, and product & market competition.

Ø          Introduced, structured, and promoted customized financial products according to the needs of the clients.

Ø          Facilitated the implementation & testing of the Lease Management System, which was a new system designed to cater to the lease-related issues more efficiently and productively.

Ø          Acted as a liaison between the Corporate Finance and the IT Functions via streamlining of inter-departmental activities.

 

 

Feb - Jun 1995              Analyst Programmer for Citibank under Infosys Software Consultants

 

Ø    Designed & implemented the payroll system for Citibank.

Ø    Designed & implemented reports for various departments of the bank.
