Drama Fever 2011 was held on 23rd December 2011 at the IBA Main
Campus auditorium. The event started off with fervor amongst
participants and the tremendously supportive crowd which was in
attendance. The guests of honor & judges of the event were Napa
graduates Ali Rizvi and Paras Masroor and the Firefly theatre CEO
and an IBA graduate, Zohaib Shaikh.
The event started off with one of the three MOC’s, Shahmeen Mehboob,
giving a glowing and well-deserved introduction to our esteemed
guests. The event got off to high start by the winners of last
year’s Drama Fever, with their thought-provoking performance,
Scream.
What followed was a beautiful potpourri of performances. Directors
used various theatre genres and hence presented comedies , musicals
and a social sagas depicting the contemporary social scenario. The
budding dramatic talent of IBA even experimented with one of the
most difficult genres, Mime.
The IBA Music Society’s Voicehunt 2011 winner Hassan Ghaus also made
a guest appearance and gave an energetic vocal performance backed up
by Ali Mojiz and Zubair Asif.

Dharti kay Khuda: Best Play, the Best Script and the Best
Actor (Fahad Feroz)
Deewar:
Best Director (Saad Qazi)
Mime:
Best Technical (Faisal Iftikhar)
Best actress: Tania Shah
The judges, in their concluding remarks, appreciated the
performances of IBA’s armature performers & directors. The esteemed
guests were presented with plagues as a token of appreciation.
