A team of ten students from the Institute of Business Administration went to Harvard WorldMUN 2011 being held in Singapore this year. The conference sponsored by Harvard and hosted by National University of Singapore (NUS) is one of the world's most prestigious and glamorous Model United Nations competitions of all time. Harvard WorldMUN brings together undergraduate and graduate students from 250 universities spanning 65 countries to debate issues of global significance such as narcoterrorism, the right to development, and currency manipulation. The IBA delegation represented the Republic of Cyprus and consisted of the following students:

- Maha Arshad (BBA 6)
- Ehab Ansari (BBA 4)
- Hashim Akbar (BBA 8)
- Salman Haroon (BBA 6)
- Umer Irfan (BBA 4)
- Kanza Naheed (BBA 6)
- Talha Khan (BBA 4)
- Daniyal Naiyer (BBA 2)

This was the first time that a delegation from IBA participated in WorldMUN and four out of the ten participants won in their respective committees. Most of the committees contained more than 350 delegates and the students of IBA were directly competing against universities such as Yale, Oxford, LSE, Princeton and Columbia, along with top universities from around the world. The awards were capped at less than 5% if the committee size. The awards were given on the basis of leadership skills, negotiation, public speaking skills, and most importantly diplomatic skills. 

The winners from IBA were:

-  Ehab Ansari and Maha Arshad won Best Delegate awards for their performance in the Disarmament and International Security committee.

-  Kanza Naheed and Umer Irfan won the Best Delegate awards in the Historical General Assembly.

- The rest of the team members landed in the top 12 in their respective committees, which further lays testimony to IBA's spectacular performance.
