I, on behalf of the rest of my group members, would like to bring to your notice that we have secured 2nd position in the Grand Finale of Battle of the Minds Contest, held by Pakistan Tobacco Company, on March 29, 2010. Six top universities across Pakistan participated: NUST, LUMS, UET, NUST Engineering, and GIK, and I feel proud to say that we managed to come 2nd amongst them. A cash prize of Rs. 200,000 was awarded to us. We have been qualified for their next round, to be held on April 9, 2010.

We would like to thank IBA for giving us the opportunity to display our talents in the corporate world. When someone asks me that who my hero is, Dr. Ishrat Husain (Dean & Director IBA) appears first on my list. We want to thank him for taking IBA to new heights and for strengthening its position in Pakistan. We hope the same happens in the international arena as well, as per Dr. Ishrat’s vision.
