Hasaan is a development sector professional with over 7 years of experience in primary & secondary research, implementation and project management. He has worked as research assistant on 5+ projects and has led 5 research projects. Hasaan has experience working with credible donors such as World Bank, International Finance Commission, United States Agency for International Development, Asian Development Bank, British Asian Trust, Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund and Karandaaz. He has experience in designing samples and questionnaires, translations, training field staff, enumeration, monitoring and evaluation, data analysis and report writing. He has experience of working in 15+ districts and 3 provinces of Pakistan. Hasaan has worked across the financial inclusion, social protection, education, health, gender, and transport sectors
Sarah Nizamani is a development economist by training and currently working is an early researcher at the IBA Karachi. Previously she has worked with Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University,Pakistan Institute of Development Economics , Climate Reality Hub and is an Op-ed writer at Dawn Newspaper.
Her research and writing is rooted on understanding human development and human capital accumulation. Previously she has on studied inequality of opportunities where her work combines socioeconomic micro-level household data with econometric techniques to analyze the distribution of opportunities. Her research on nexus in between economic growth and taxation has been published in several newspapers. Previously she has taught and assisted MPhil students with their coursework in macroeconomics and development economics at Applied Economics Research Center, University of Karachi.
