NJV Govt. Higher Secondary School attends NTHP Information Session at IBA Karachi

In collaboration with the National Talent Hunt Program (NTHP) department, the IBA marketing team conducted an information session for the NTH program for the students of NJV Govt. Higher Secondary School. More than 25 students and 3 faculty members were in attendance for this session. A brief introduction about IBA Karachi was given by the marketing team before a team member from the NTH program took over proceedings for the session. The students were given a small motivational talk prior to the presentation and were then briefed about the six undergraduate programs, alumni, facilities and admission eligibility. Since all the students had an interest in the social sciences, the BS-SSLA program was the focus of their attention. The second half of this session revolved around the NTH program and how IBA Karachi visited far-flung areas of the country to recruit talented and dedicated students for this program. Since the majority of these students came from financially-constrained backgrounds, it was heartening to see them show such interest in wanting to join IBA. From school visits, NTHP test preparation, NTHP orientation and IBA aptitude preparation to life at IBA and scholarships/financial assistance – it was all explained in great depth to the NJV students. An engaging discussion followed the presentation and it was clear that all of them were eager to join the program to get admission into one/any of the leading business schools of the country.
