Distinguished Seminar Series | University of Pennsylvania | Session I

July 13, 2022: School of Economics and Social Sciences hosted a distinguished seminar series in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania. The first session in the series by Dr. Jere Behrman, titled “Early-Life Undernourishment in Developing Countries: Prevalence, Impacts over the Life Cycle and Determinants.” was organized on July 13, 2022. Dr. Jere Behrman is a Professor of Economics/Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Behrman is honored with the William R. Kenan Jr. professorship in economics. According to IDEAS/RePEc, he belongs to the 1% of highest ranked economists worldwide. The session was moderated by Dr. Asma Hyder, Dean and Professor School of Economics and Social Sciences at the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi. Dr. Jere Behrman delivered a lecture on Early life undernourishment and outcomes over the life cycle based on Guatemalan INCAP Data. The seminar was conducted exclusively online and broadcasted on Facebook Live.
