Application for the post of Sindh Sales Tax Officer (Trainee)

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher (minimum 16 years of education)with 1st division or with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, with Economics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, I.T. or Business Administration as one of the subjects from any HEC recognized university or a reputable foreign university.
Command over MS office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
Possess strong communication & interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English and Urdu/Sindhi.
Prior work experience in Finance, Sales Tax Law and Audit will be an advantage.
ONLY candidates with a domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate Form D, issued by the Province of Sindh are eligible.
Age Limit: Between 21 years to 28 years, on the August 15, 2020. 15 years age relaxation in the upper age limit as per the notification of Government of Sindh dated July 27, 2020. Copy of the notification and corrigendum are available on the following links:

Please note:

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test, group discussion and interview.
No TA/DA or any other allowance is admissible. If selected, any related travel expense will be borne by the applicant.
All Documents along with the paid fee voucher will be required at the time of the group discussion and interview.
Aptitude / Written Test will be conducted by IBA Karachi at their specified locations in the province i.e. Karachi, Sukkur and Hyderabad. Eligible Candidates will be required to deposit screening test fee of Rs.750/- through fee voucher in the account of IBA Karachi in any branch of Meezan Bank Limited. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria stated above are required to fill the application form and generate the fee voucher through IBA Portal. Screening Test Fee is non-refundable / non-transferable in any case. Please make sure to fill the application form correctly and carefully to avoid possible rejection.
A candidate working in any Government / Semi Govt. Department or Statutory Corporation shall provide a NOC, from respective employer on a prescribed format at the time of interview.
