SMCS organizes workshop on 'Computer Science Outcome-based Education' for faculty members

February 17-18, 2022: The School of Mathematics and Computer Science (SMCS) organized a two-day workshop titled, ‘Computer Science Outcome-based Education’ for its faculty members at the IBA Main Campus.

The aim of the session was to enhance the understanding of National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC), new accreditation criteria of student outcomes, program learning outcomes and graduate attributes.

The instructor of the workshop, Professor, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Dr. Shoab Ahmed Khan, discussed different international outcome-based education standards with the attendees of the session. He also engaged the participants with hands-on exercises on developing program education objectives of SMCS and developing course learning outcomes.

The workshop was attended by Dean, SMCS, Dr. Shakeel A. Khoja, Chairperson, Computer Science (CS) department, Dr. Shahid Hussain and faculty members of the CS department.
