Syed Taha qualified for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE)-2018 conducted by Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC). He was placed in the top group of Provincial Management Service (PMS) and joined as PMS Officer, which included postings as Assistant Commissioner and Section Officer (SO), in the Sindh government on October 25, 2019. His first posting, as SO (Coal and Energy) in Energy Department, Government of Sindh, was on May 19, 2020.
