Talent Hunt Program for Deserving Female Students Seeking Admission in IBA-Karachi
Talent Hunt Program has been launched by USAID-funded Merit and Needs Based Scholarship Program to encourage and prepare deserving female students from low-income families who are unable to pursue higher education in top Pakistani universities due to lack of finances required for entry test preparation.
The Program offers capable female students preparation support for admission tests in multiple disciplines offered in universities across Pakistan.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Student must be Pakistani/AJ&K national.
- Must belong to a low-income household.
- Must have secured 80% or above marks in the Intermediate (HSSC-II) examination conducted by the BISE In 2022.
Shortlisting Process:
- The application will be scrutinized by HEC Committees to determine eligibility of the applicant.
- Merit list will be prepared based on academic record and needs-based criteria defined under the program.
- Selection offer will be extended to top candidates depending upon the number of available seats.
Program Coverage for Students:
- Stipend
- Mock test will be conducted after preparatory workshops
- Accommodation (limited slots)
