Self-Perceived Life Satisfaction

The project is based on two wave of a survey (2017, 2021) and analyzes the wellbeing and life satisfaction of citizen of a developing country like Pakistan. The project is based on five different dimensions of wellbeing can help to recuperate the policy in certain directions to improve the overall status of populace. The balance between material and non-material development, and the multi-dimensional nature of this survey are the key features that distinguish wellbeing from GDP as a measure of a country’s progress. The project attempt to explain that how different indicators collectively impact the human welfare, happiness, and wellbeing.

In this project we measured five broad dimensions of our culture and society.

    1. a. Standard of living, education, health
  2. 2. Good governance
    1. a. Equitable distribution of resources,
  3. 3. Environment
    1. a. Environment conservation & protection
  4. 4. Preservation and promotion of culture
    1. a. Cultural resilience and promotion, feeling of ownership of heritage and national assets
  5. 5. Affect
    1. a. Psychological wellbeing, feelings and emotions in daily life
